Blewford Barlow ,Sr 
Blewford was born in 1787 in Washington, Ky. Blewford's father was Lewis Barlow and his mother was Judah Frances Smith. His paternal grandfather was Jacob Barlow and his paternal grandmother is Mary Fleshman; his maternal grandfather is Mathias Smith. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Henry, Jeremiah, William, Jane Rebecca, Mary and Sarah. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 71 on April 15th, 1858 in ?Lee Twp, Polk Co, Iowa?. He was buried in Oakwood Cem.General Notes

"Abstracts of Rev War Pension Files: Lewis, S16619, VA line, appl 8 Sep1830 Shelby Co, In aged 75 with family, Judah Barlow aged 75, EllizabethBarlow aged 28, crippled, George Barlow aged 12, and Bluford Barlow aged10, (Blewford's family)" I thought he must be dead by 1830 however,Vernon Barlow has him dying 4-15-1858 In Lee twp, Polk Co, Iowa. Hedoesn't show up in the 1840 Census of Shelby County with his son Blewfordand wife Eliz either.)
Blewford were married in a religious ceremony in 1815 in Ky.
