Riley Sylvester was born on October 10th, 1891 in Cloudcroft, Otero Co., New Mexico.1 Riley Sylvester's father was James Trousdel Waldrip and his mother was Alabama Maleance Graham. His maternal grandparents were William Franklin Smith Graham and Ann Elisor Alley. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William Newton, Sidney Anderson George, George Hasel, Jeff Alvin, Jehu Trousdell, Bessie, Roma and Lois Ella. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 85 on November 27th, 1976 in Coolidge, Pinal Co., Arizona.
