George Hasel Waldrip 
George Hasel was born on April 24th, 1901 in Hagerman, Chaves Co., New Mexico.1 George Hasel's father was James Trousdel Waldrip and his mother was Alabama Maleance Graham. His maternal grandparents were William Franklin Smith Graham and Ann Elisor Alley. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William Newton, Riley Sylvester, Sidney Anderson George, Jeff Alvin, Jehu Trousdell, Bessie, Roma and Lois Ella. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 81 on March 11th, 1983 in Springfield, Lane Co., Oregon.1 General Notes
