Curtis Ophelia was born in 1900.1 Curtis Ophelia's father was James Thomas Underwood and his/her mother was Amanda Jane Mabry. His/her paternal grandparents are David Underwood and Sarah Turner; his/her maternal grandparents were Thomas L. Mabry and Sarah Miranda Graham. He/she had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas David, John William, George Thomas, Martin Luther, Roy Raven, Minnie Lee, Dora Matilda and Ollie Mae. He/she was the youngest of the nine children. He/she died at the age of 67 in 1967.1 General Notes
