Phobe Isabel was born on May 12th, 1844 in Cumberland Co., North Carolina.1 Phobe Isabel's father was Samuel Isaac Tutor and her mother is Lucinda Ann Johnson. Her paternal grandparents were William Owen Tutor and Lucinda Senter. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Joseph, Samuel Isaac, Jr., William H., Daniel Hacroy, Gabriel O., Mebleanne, Lucy Jane, Rebecca H., Mary Elizabeth and Nancy Elizabeth. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 79 on January 29th, 1924 in Pontotoc Co., Mississippi.1 General Notes
