Mary Elizabeth was born on December 3rd, 1852 in Pontotoc Co., Mississippi.1 Mary Elizabeth's father was Samuel Isaac Tutor and her mother is Lucinda Ann Johnson. Her paternal grandparents were William Owen Tutor and Lucinda Senter. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Joseph, Samuel Isaac, Jr., William H., Daniel Hacroy, Gabriel O., Mebleanne, Lucy Jane, Phobe Isabel, Rebecca H. and Nancy Elizabeth. She was the third youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 54 in October 1907 in Pontotoc Co., Mississippi.1 General Notes
