Rebecca H. was born on October 26th, 1847 in Chatham Co., North Carolina.1 Rebecca H.'s father was Samuel Isaac Tutor and her mother is Lucinda Ann Johnson. Her paternal grandparents were William Owen Tutor and Lucinda Senter. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Joseph, Samuel Isaac, Jr., William H., Daniel Hacroy, Gabriel O., Mebleanne, Lucy Jane, Phobe Isabel, Mary Elizabeth and Nancy Elizabeth. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 51 in 1898 in Pontotoc Co., Mississippi.1 General Notes
