James Pepper Anderson 
James Pepper was born on July 20th, 1868 in Pontotoc Co., Mississippi.1 James Pepper's father is George Thomas Anderson and his mother was Phobe Isabel Tutor. His maternal grandfather was Samuel Isaac Tutor and his maternal grandmother is Lucinda Ann Johnson. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Nathaniel, George Washington, Samuel Isaac, John Quincy, Lucy Bell and Martha Ann. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 84 on February 22nd, 1953 in Pontotoc Co., Mississippi.1 General Notes
