Jewel Irene Thedford 
Jewel Irene was born on October 10th, 1890.1 Jewel Irene's father was Hiram Edward Thedford and her mother was Mary Winnie Crook. Her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Telfair Crook and Martha Elizabeth Chastain. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Fred Watts, Douglas DeWitt, Lera Kathleen, Lucille, Shirley Inez, Velma Pauline and Mildred Chastain. She was the oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 80 on November 1st, 1970.1 General Notes
