Elizabeth Underwood 
Elizabeth was born in 1780 in Georgia.1 Elizabeth's father was Joseph D. Underwood and her mother was Winifred Henderson. Her paternal grandparents were Nathan,Jr. Underwood and Elizabeth Anderson. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Aaron, George B., Joseph D., Jr., Reuben Isam, William H., Sarah, Anna and Mary. She had a half-brother named William Henderson.
