Willie Esther was born on October 11th, 1895 in Texas.1 Willie Esther's father was Benjamin Smalley Snider and her mother was Margaret Jane Elliott. Her paternal grandparents were John Snider and Rachel Smalley. She had two brothers named Benjamin Leroy and James Barton. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 85 on March 6th, 1981 in Abilene, Tyler Co., Texas. She was buried in Moran, Shackelford Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
