Henry Blaine was born on August 4th, 1884 in LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 Henry Blaine's father was Robert Joseph Skaggs and his mother was Rosetta E. Bell. His paternal grandparents were Henry David Skaggs and Ruth S. Salsman. He had two brothers and three sisters, named James Logan, Elijah B., Alta, Julie A. and Celia Catherine. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 88 on February 10th, 1973 in LaRue Co., Kentucky. He was buried in Mt. Tabor Baptist Cemetery, LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
