John William Senter 
John William was born on March 29th, 1889 in Buckhorn Township, Harnett Co., North Carolina.1 John William's father was James Eldridge Senter and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Arnold. His paternal grandfather is James W. Senter and his paternal grandmother was Charlotte Hilliard; his maternal grandparents are Thomas Arnold and Elizabeth Newell. He had a brother and four sisters, named Hubert Henry, Lattie M., Lector Irene, Myrtle Ruth and Mary Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the six children. He died about 1980.1 General Notes
