Lector Irene Senter 
Lector Irene was born on December 24th, 1894 in Buckhorn Township, Harnett Co., North Carolina.1 Lector Irene's father was James Eldridge Senter and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Arnold. Her paternal grandfather is James W. Senter and her paternal grandmother was Charlotte Hilliard; her maternal grandparents are Thomas Arnold and Elizabeth Newell. She had two brothers and three sisters, named John William, Hubert Henry, Lattie M., Myrtle Ruth and Mary Elizabeth. She was the third oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 75 on September 13th, 1970 in Roanoke, Virginia.1 General Notes
