John M. Senter 
John M. was born on October 25th, 1815 in Mouth of Wilson, Grayson Co., Virginia.1 John M.'s father was Drury Senter and his mother was Mary McClure. His paternal grandparents were Henry Senter and Rebecca Avent; his maternal grandparents are Nathan McClure and Dorcas Cole. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Nathaniel, Aaron, Stephen Henry, William N., James Harvey, Levi Bishop, Drury, Jr., Calvin Halbert, Rebecca, Evaline, Caroline and Mary. He was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 71 on November 4th, 1886.1 General Notes
