Calvin Halbert Senter 
Calvin Halbert was born on September 2nd, 1832 in Grayson Co., Virginia.1 Calvin Halbert's father was Drury Senter and his mother was Mary McClure. His paternal grandparents were Henry Senter and Rebecca Avent; his maternal grandparents are Nathan McClure and Dorcas Cole. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Nathaniel, Aaron, Stephen Henry, John M., William N., James Harvey, Levi Bishop, Drury, Jr., Rebecca, Evaline, Caroline and Mary. He was the second youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 87 on March 20th, 1920 in Grayson Co., Virginia.1 General Notes
