Lafayette Layne Robbins 
Lafayette Layne was born on November 4th, 1897 in Indianapolis, Indiana.1 Lafayette Layne's father was William Riley Robbins and his mother was Emeree Basham. His paternal grandparents were William Lewis Robbins and Mary Ann Ferguson; his maternal grandparents were Obediah Basham and Sarah Ann Roberts. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Milford Filmore, William Lewis, Henry Harrison, Edward Machlyn, Mary Ann, Laura and Della Catherine. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 85 on May 20th, 1983 in Grand Island, Nebraska.1 General Notes
