Elizabeth was born on May 9th, 1878 in Clear Creek, Perry Co., Kentucky.1 Elizabeth's father was Nicholas Ritchie and her mother is Rachel Summer. Her paternal grandfather was John Ritchie and her paternal grandmother is Sylvania Sizemore. She had three brothers named Hiram, Edward and Henry. She was the second youngest of the four children. She died at the age of 58 on August 10th, 1936. She was buried in Crockett Cemetery, Knott Co., Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
