Eddie Elbert was born on October 22nd, 1886 in Runnels, Co., Texas.1 Eddie Elbert's father was Harry Edward Proctor and his mother was Frances Isobel Manning. His maternal grandparents were James Duncan Manning and Martha Jane Graham. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Forest Franklin, Asa Averil, Jasper Jessie James, Lemar Lumia, Ida Irene, Lettie Lovey, Delphia Dean, Maude Myrtle and Beulah Rebecca. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 90 on September 10th, 1977 in Odessa, Ector Co., Texas.1 General Notes
