Ruth Irene Prestridge 
Ruth Irene was born on June 25th, 1905 in Alvarado, Johnson Co., Texas.1 Ruth Irene's father was John Fenley Prestridge and her mother was Maude Catherine Merritt. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Benjamin Prestridge and Sarah Almeida Fenley. She had a brother and a sister, named John Bunyan and Clara Maude. She was the youngest of the three children.
