John Fenley was born on March 31st, 1875 in Alvarado, Johnson Co., Texas.1 John Fenley's father was Joseph Benjamin Prestridge and his mother was Sarah Almeida Fenley. His paternal grandparents were James Madison Prestridge and Emily S. Ezell; his maternal grandparents are John Fenley and Elizabeth Jane Nunn. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Joseph Russell, James Ezell, Willie Edmund, Imogene, Ruth Edna and Ila Dell. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 75 on July 28th, 1950 in Alvarado, Johnson Co., Texas.1 -
