Matilda Emaline Prestridge 
Matilda Emaline was born on March 21st, 1844 in Choctaw Co., Alabama.1 Matilda Emaline's father was James Madison Prestridge and her mother was Emily S. Ezell. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph N. Prestridge and Elizabeth D. Bagley. She had two brothers and five sisters, named William A., Joseph Benjamin, Milissa Jane, Elizabeth Ann, May Louise, Martha M. and Emily Ellen. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 79 on November 7th, 1923 in Alvarado, Johnson Co., Texas.1 -
