Kate R. was born on June 26th, 1871.1 Kate R.'s father was Irving Lafayette Plummer and her mother was Emaline Keahey. Her maternal grandparents were William,General Keahey and Jane Clark. She had two brothers and a sister, named William, Tiff Foster and Laura B.. She was the oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 72 on July 16th, 1943 in Waynesboro, Mississippi.1 General Notes
