Ruth Mitchell

Ruth was born on April 8th, 1894 in Texas.¹ Ruth's father was David Mitchell and her mother was Lydia Ellen Blackwell. Her maternal grandparents were Joel Blackwell and Sarah Ememline Graham. She had six brothers and two sisters, named John Howard, Martin Luther, Walter Scott, William Arthur, Travis Blackwell, Thomas Stuart, Laura Estelle and Ruby Delores. She is the second youngest of the nine children.
