John J. was born on May 1st, 1846.1 John J.'s father was Farquehard McLeod and his mother was Sarah McFarland. His paternal grandparents were Peter McLeod and Sarah McCaskill; his maternal grandparents were John McFarland and Mary Keahey. He had three brothers and four sisters, named George Keahey, Albert, Erastus, Martha Ann, Sarah Eugenia, Flora Katherine and Mary. He died at the age of 85 on February 25th, 1932.1 General Notes
