Martha Ann was born on May 4th, 1850 in Greene Co., Mississippi.1 Martha Ann's father was Farquehard McLeod and her mother was Sarah McFarland. Her paternal grandparents were Peter McLeod and Sarah McCaskill; her maternal grandparents were John McFarland and Mary Keahey. She had four brothers and three sisters, named John J., George Keahey, Albert, Erastus, Sarah Eugenia, Flora Katherine and Mary. She died at the age of 43 on February 6th, 1894.1 General Notes
