Alexander Gallatin McChesney 
Alexander Gallatin was born on August 31st, 1829.1 Alexander Gallatin's father was James McChesney and his mother is Frances Anne McNutt. His maternal grandparents were Alexander McNutt and Rachael Grigsby. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Robert, James Z., Elizabeth Johnson, Rachel Grigsby, Martha Eveline, Frances A. Louise and Mary M. A.. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 47 on May 19th, 1877.1 General Notes
