Artie Anna was born on September 28th, 1911 in Oplin, Texas.1 Artie Anna's father was Robert Shelton Liverett and her mother was May Louise Curry. Her maternal grandparents were Willie Overton Curry and Martha Ann Manning. She had a brother and three sisters, named Robert Curry, Opal Lee, Reba May and Ruby Faye. She was the oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 80 on July 11th, 1992 in Brownwood, Brown Co., Texas.1 General Notes
