Sarah Ann Emaline was born on November 6th, 1826 in Bedford, Tennessee.1 Sarah Ann Emaline's father was Alva Anderson Lamb and her mother was Sarah Jane Graham. Her maternal grandparents were John Graham and Mary Emmaline Pennington. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Josiah Sylvester, John Isbell, James K. Polk, Mary Ann, Maria Elizabeth, Jane, Malinda Lucinda, Nancy Vinetta and Harriet Clarica. She was the oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 104 on December 5th, 1930 in Blackfoot, Coryell Co., Texas.1 General Notes
