Alfred Hairsine 
Alfred was born on November 17th, 1852 in Canada.1 Alfred's father was Thomas Hairsine and his mother was Margerie Robson. His paternal grandparents were Charles Hairsine and Mary Shipley. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Charles, James T., Joseph Robson, Leonard, Thomas Malcolm, Gowan, Mary, Jane and Rebecca. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 81 on January 17th, 1934.1 General Notes

Was born on the family farm - Lot 231, North Talbot Roas. In 1883 Al
fr ed built the brick house (now covered in white siding) that still st
an ds on the farm. At the time the house was built it had 5 bedrooms, 2 s
tai rcases (back and front), parlor, dining room, kitchen and a large summ
er k itchen that stretched out at the back. Grampa Harry told us Rebecca
's fat her, Major Fox, spent one whole winter building the winding stairca
se in t he front of the house. It certainly ia a beautiful staircase.
Alfred and Jenny were married in a religious ceremony on November 9th, 1887.1 They had two sons and two daughters, named Milton, Harry Leonard, Ida and Mildred.

Milton was born on September 2nd, 1888.1 He died at the age of 81 on November 1st, 1969.1
Mildred Hairsine
Mildred was born on April 1st, 1893.1 She died at the age of 98 on February 4th, 1992.1
Harry Leonard Hairsine
Harry Leonard was born on October 15th, 1899.1 He died at the age of 86 on September 5th, 1986.1
