Robert Edward was born on April 25th, 1885 in McCellanville, Charleston Co., South Carolina.1 Robert Edward's father was Thomas William Graham and his mother was Frances Jones Sessions. His paternal grandparents were William Isaiah Graham and Margaret Dorcas Beaty. He had six brothers and three sisters, named William Q., Thomas William, Jr., Wade Hampton, Josiah Sessions, Plowden Dow, John Hugh, Frances Sessions, Mary Harriet and Margaret Dorcas. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 85 on May 25th, 1970 in McCellanville, Charleston Co., South Carolina.
