William Fletcher Gause 
William Fletcher was born in 1820.1 William Fletcher's father was William Bacot Gause and his mother was Martha Frink. His paternal grandparents were William, Jr. Gause and Elizabeth Bacot. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Thomas Frink, John William, Wesley Coke Asbury, Samuel Peter, Elizabeth and Mary. He had five half-brothers and a half-sister, named Benson Kennedy, Emory Purefoy, MacCarroll Bangs, Olen Bacot, Lucian Allston and Francis.-
