Edith Glencoe Fairchild 
Edith Glencoe was born on December 12th, 1913 in Harper, Gillespie Co., Texas.1 Edith Glencoe's father was Joseph Alvin Fairchild and her mother was Aetna Alwilda Taylor. Her maternal grandparents were Amos Gayle,Rev. Taylor and Martha Matilida Graham. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Gilbert Wade, Nilman Ishmael, Manley Franklin, Willie Vonzyl, Robert Earl, Olivia Lee, Burnecia Izora, Lillie Mae, Lydia Marion, Ida Irene and Dorothy Lee. She was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 40 on January 30th, 1954 in San Bernadino, San Bernadino Co., California. She was buried in Pioneer Memorial Cemtery, San Bernadino Co., Califorinia.1 1 General Notes
