Burnecia Izora was born on February 1st, 1909 in Spring Creek, Gillespie Co., Texas.1 Burnecia Izora's father was Joseph Alvin Fairchild and her mother was Aetna Alwilda Taylor. Her maternal grandparents were Amos Gayle,Rev. Taylor and Martha Matilida Graham. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Gilbert Wade, Nilman Ishmael, Manley Franklin, Willie Vonzyl, Robert Earl, Olivia Lee, Lillie Mae, Edith Glencoe, Lydia Marion, Ida Irene and Dorothy Lee. She was the third oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 54 on October 3rd, 1963 in Hillsboro, Hill Co., Texas. She was buried in Ridge Park Cemetery, Hillsboro, Hill Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
