Polly Elkin 
Polly was born on December 12th, 1816.1 Polly's father was Abel Elkin and her mother was Mary Polly Skaggs. Her paternal grandparents are Nathaniel Elkin and Rachel Elizabeth Hart; her maternal grandparents were Charles Skaggs and Lucinda Thompson. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William Melton, James, Abel,Jr., Rachel, Nancy, Betty, Diadema and Melvina. She is the fifth oldest of the nine children.General Notes
