Diadema Elkin

Diadema was born on November 11th, 1821.¹ Diadema's father was Abel Elkin and her mother was Mary Polly Skaggs. Her paternal grandparents are Nathaniel Elkin and Rachel Elizabeth Hart; her maternal grandparents were Charles Skaggs and Lucinda Thompson. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William Melton, James, Abel,Jr., Rachel, Nancy, Betty, Polly and Melvina. She is the third youngest of the nine children.
