Nancy Elkin 
Nancy was born on November 25th, 1808 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 Nancy's father was Abel Elkin and her mother was Mary Polly Skaggs. Her paternal grandparents are Nathaniel Elkin and Rachel Elizabeth Hart; her maternal grandparents were Charles Skaggs and Lucinda Thompson. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William Melton, James, Abel,Jr., Rachel, Betty, Polly, Diadema and Melvina. She is the second oldest of the nine children.General Notes
