Her paternal grandfather was Christopher Durbin and her paternal grandmother is Margaret Brown Parkinson not proven; her maternal grandfather was Edward Ned Logsdon and her maternal grandmother is Mary Polly Brown. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named John Mathis, Edward M, Christopher K, William D, Joseph P Squire Joe, Sylvester J, James, Philip E the Well Digger, Nancy A, Margaret Peggy and Elizabeth.-
