General Notes

It is amazing that the identity of whom Christopher married is uncertai
n. Only recently has a general consensus been noted by this writer that h
er name was Margaret Brown Parkinson.  (However, I am
unaware of documentation to that effect.) There had been speculation th
at she was from southern Pennsylvania, possibly Greene County, but that w
as not verified to the best of my knowledge.
Christopher fathered at least 12 children, six sons and six daughters; od
dly enough the records on the latter have yet to be found. (Some contend t
here was a second marriage and more children.)
