Letitia Dowell 
Letitia was born on August 24th, 1802 in BEDFORD CO., VA.1 Letitia's father was Micajah Dowell and her mother was Francis "Fanny" Meador. Her paternal grandparents were George DOWELL and Margaret \\; her maternal grandfather was Ambrous Meador. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Elijah, Nehemiah, Littleberry, Claibourne, Drinkard, Mary "Polly", Sarah, Frances and Malinda. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Drinkerd and Lettisher "Letitia". She died at the age of 47 on November 15th, 1849.1 General Notes
