Claibourne Dowell 
Claibourne was born in October 1809 in BRECKINRIDGE CO. KY.1 Claibourne's father was Micajah Dowell and his mother was Frances (Fanny) Meador. His paternal grandparents were George DOWELL and Margaret \\; his maternal grandparents are Ambrose Meador and Francis Hicks\Hix. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Thomas Elijah, Nehemiah, Littleberry, Drinkerd, Mary "Polly", Sarah, Frances, Lettisher "Letitia" and Malinda. He was the youngest of the ten children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Drinkard and Letitia. He died at the age of 25 on July 5th, 1835 in BRECKINRIDGE CO. KY.1 General Notes
