Nancy DeSpain 
Nancy was born in 1830 in Kentucky.1 Nancy's father was James Simpson DeSpain and her mother is Mary A. Roark. Her paternal grandparents were Peter DeSpain and Nancy Skaggs. She had two brothers and five sisters, named John M., James Henry, Sarah Jane, Elizabeth C., Mary Ann, Julia A. and Eliza J.. She is the third oldest of the eight children.General Notes
