Mary Ann DeSpain 
Mary Ann was born on September 26th, 1836 in Montgomery Co., Indiana.1 Mary Ann's father was James Simpson DeSpain and her mother is Mary A. Roark. Her paternal grandparents were Peter DeSpain and Nancy Skaggs. She had two brothers and five sisters, named John M., James Henry, Sarah Jane, Nancy, Elizabeth C., Julia A. and Eliza J.. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died at just 25 days old on October 21st, 1836 in Montgomery Co., Indiana.1 General Notes
