Grace Louise was born on November 21st, 1925 in LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 Grace Louise's father was Richard Marshall DeSpain and her mother was Ida Frances Skaggs. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Thomas DeSpain and Sarah Frances Warren. She had three brothers and nine sisters, named John Thomas, Raymond Alex, Everett C., Nora A., Mary Gertrude, Lona Beatrice, Amy Frances, Alma, Nora A., Delcie Marie, Stella Kathleen and Nettie Darlene.
