Winnie E. was born on March 1st, 1890 in Austin Co., Texas.1 Winnie E.'s father was Ben F. Davis and her mother was Mary Eliza Allen. Her maternal grandparents were James William Allen and Penelope Johnston. She had seven sisters named Unnamed, Nellie E., Frankie E., Sue A., Marguerite E., Mamie Eyrle and Bennie Myrle. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 95 in 1985 in Harris Co., Texas.1 General Notes
