Minnie Myrtle was born on November 13th, 1879 in Coryell, Co., Texas.1 Minnie Myrtle's father was Willie Overton Curry and her mother was Martha Ann Manning. Her maternal grandparents were James Duncan Manning and Martha Jane Graham. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Eucie Elihue, James Malcomb, Sinclair O., O. C., Ferman Fennimore, Ella Modena, May Louise, Mary Rossie, Jane Lossie and Ica Ann. She was the oldest of the eleven children.
