James William Crook 
James William was born on October 22nd, 1862.1 James William's father was William Coke Crook and his mother was Rebecca Case Jones. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Crook and Winney Norwood. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William Homer, Reuben Anson, John Austin, Millard Preston, Louisa Elizabeth, Viola Alice, Mary Henderson and Jocie Ingebord. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 85 on February 16th, 1948.1 General Notes
