James Alexander Crawford 
James Alexander was born on July 10th, 1869.1 James Alexander's father is William McClung Crawford and his mother was Rachel Grigsby McChesney. His maternal grandfather was James McChesney and his maternal grandmother is Frances Anne McNutt. He had five brothers and three sisters, named James Edward, Wilbert Lewis, Frank Hurbert, Earnest Brown, Edgar Allen, Fannie McNutt, Roberta McChesney and Sallie Edna. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 60 in 1929.1 General Notes
