Clara Edith was born on October 26th, 1908 in Lawrence Co., Tennessee.1 Clara Edith's father was Arthur Calvinas Crabb and her mother was Memra LouVina Bassham. Her maternal grandparents were Drury Washington Bassham and Destia M. Jones. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Malcolm G., Aubry Crabb, Leo Martin, James, Mamie Ella, Oda Jewell, Evelyn Desta Frances and Living. She died at the age of 92 on December 11th, 2000 in Morrow, Georgia. She was buried in Leoma Cem., Lawrence Co., Tennessee.1 1 General Notes
