Charles Wayne was born on July 3rd, 1951 in Bell Co., Texas.1 Charles Wayne's father was Chester Clinard and his mother was Velva Birdie Crow. His paternal grandparents were Owen Berthal Clinard and Mittie Mae Pratt. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Chester Lee Roy, Hubert Lester, Living, Living, Living, Living, Living, Mittie Lue, Living, Living and Living. He died at the age of 21 on October 1st, 1972 in Gulf of Tonkin, South Vietnam. He was buried in Marlow Cemetery, Cameron, Texas.1 1 General Notes
